He is working in the field of Hotel & Catering Management since 1976. He has over 40 years of work experience in the field of Catering and Hotel Management. He has worked in Hotels as Duty Manager, Food and Beverage Cost Controller, Front Office Manager. He has experience of Sea Catering working as Purser/Catering Officer for over ten years.
Presently, he is a visiting Professor at Ambrosia Institute of Hotel Management, Pune. He also carries out Staff Training programme in Front Office and Food & Beverage service in Hotels.
Earlier he was Principal of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Pune, since its inception in 1992 till 2016. He was instrumental in setting up the college which is regarded as the top Hotel Management College in Pune.
He was the member of Board of Studies and examination at University of Pune when the degree programme in Hotel Management and Catering Technology was introduced under the University of Pune, and Chairman Board of studies, Senate member for Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.
He has guided many students in completion of their Research studies at Diploma, Degree and post Degree level.
